Freelance SEN Nanny / ABA Tutor – Wraysbury, TW19

A lovely private family in Wraysbury is looking for a Freelance SEN Nanny / ABA Tutor / SEN Teaching Assistant to support their bright 12-year-old son, who has autism and an EHCP in place. Sessions are arranged on an as-needed, ad-hoc basis — ideal for someone who wants variety and the freedom to manage their own schedule.
Working Pattern:
- No fixed weekly hours — sessions are booked flexibly, mostly in the after-school period (around 4:30pm–7:00pm) and during school holidays (around 9:00am–3:00pm)
- Availability required on an ad-hoc/on-call basis, with as much notice as possible given

What We're Looking For:
- A qualified, experienced SEN/ASD Teacher, SEN TA, or ABA Tutor with a strong track record of planning and delivering engaging sessions
- Hands-on experience with ABA and/or Speech and Language Therapy approaches, in a home, school, or nursery setting
- Confidence supporting children with challenging behaviour
- Minimum 2 years' SEN experience, ideally with autism
- A patient, energetic, and reliable person, genuinely happy to work flexibly and be available at short notice when needed
- Strong understanding of sensory processing needs
- Willingness to learn and apply ABA techniques under specialist guidance
- Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle (car, motorbike, or bicycle)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
