Cat Sitting needed near Elgin City North IV30
I have two indoor cats, Daisy and Oreo. They are generally calm, gentle cats, but they do not like being picked up or held.
They are fed half a pouch of wet food each twice a day, once between 7–9am and again between 7–9pm. They are also on a diet and receive one ramekin of dry food per day. Fresh water should always be available.
Oreo can hiss at new people, especially men or people he is not familiar with, but he is not aggressive and usually settles once he gets used to someone. Daisy went missing in 2020 and suffered a broken jaw, but she has fully recovered and it does not affect her eating or day-to-day life.
They can occasionally be sick, usually due to furballs or eating too quickly. This is normal for them and is not usually a cause for concern.
Treats are available in the cupboard with their food, but please avoid giving them any as Daisy can sometimes be sick after eating them.
They have toys and enjoy playing. You are welcome to play with them or bring your own toys, but please be aware that their claws are very sharp during play. They do not bite or scratch people unless they are playing or trying to get down after being picked up.
A spare set of keys is available if required, and I am happy to answer any questions about their routine.
